This internship is based at the Colorado State University Western Campus (3170 B1/2 Rd 81503) and the Western Slope Food Bank of the Rockies Branch in Grand Junction. The intern will assist in developing the Food Bank of the Rockies dehydration program. This internship involves experimenting with techniques to process fruit into different dehydrated products and collecting data about the time, effort and outcome of each technique. Data collection methods will be supervised by CSU staff and dehydration methods by FBR staff. This internship will help people who are interested in building a career in restaurants or food-based businesses. Hiring May 2023.
