Young Farmers seeks a skilled organizer active in the Colorado farming community to join us in the role of Colorado Organizer. The Colorado Organizer will provide capacity and support to our members, chapters, and organizational partners in Colorado in order to build and shift power for structural change in the 2023 Farm Bill. With guidance from the Western Organizing Manager, they will grow and mobilize our base in Colorado and, along with our New Mexico and California Organizers, will support farmer advocacy across the West region. The organizer will support Colorado and Western farmers to engage in federal campaigns, with a focus on climate justice, racial equity, and equitable land access. The Colorado organizer will work closely with our partners to develop farmer leadership and advocacy expertise to win policy change to equitably resource the next generation of farmers.
