Bean Bootcamp
Bean Bootcamp is a 4-part grower education series designed to support resilient, profitable, and sustainable bean production in the San Luis Valley and beyond.
Where: Ski Hi, Monte Vista
When: Wednesdays, 9am to 10pm from Oct 29th–Nov 19th (lunch included)
Each week features regional experts covering key topics:
- Varieties: drought tolerance, heirloom genetics, variety trials (Oct 29)
- Production: agronomics, equipment, budgets (Nov 5)
- Processing: facility FAQs, value-added products, labeling (Nov 12)
- Markets: logistics, regional + export markets (Nov 19)
