Bean Bootcamp

Bean Bootcamp is a 4-part grower education series designed to support resilient, profitable, and sustainable bean production in the San Luis Valley and beyond.

Where: Ski Hi, Monte Vista

When: Wednesdays, 9am to 10pm from Oct 29th–Nov 19th (lunch included)

Each week features regional experts covering key topics:

  • Varieties: drought tolerance, heirloom genetics, variety trials (Oct 29)
  • Production: agronomics, equipment, budgets (Nov 5)
  • Processing: facility FAQs, value-added products, labeling (Nov 12)
  • Markets: logistics, regional + export markets (Nov 19)

Registration for the entire series costs $50, or registering for each class individually costs $15. Virtual options are available. If you have any questions, email Madeline at madeline.wilson@colostate.edu.
