Job Title: External Evaluator, Regional Food Systems Partnership (RFSP) Grant

Location: Northern Colorado, Fort Collins area preferred

Contractual Dates: October 2023 – January 2024, Three-Month Contract

Salary: $5,000

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Northern Colorado Foodshed Project is seeking an External Evaluator for its 2021 USDA RFSP grant for the Poudre Food Partnership (PFP). This role will be a three-month contract where the Evaluator work will encompass data analysis of grant programs, program and partner evaluations, and contribute to the Food Systems Action Plan for Northern Colorado.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES AND REQUIREMENTS

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in developing and summarizing data to be utilized for the RFSP Final Report and Foodshed Project Gap Funding
  • Analyze data from community assessments to inform project-based decision making
  • Collaborate with partner organizations to develop action plans related to RFSP projects
  • Online survey development, distribution and analysis of PFP Working Group members
  • End of Grant qualitative data collection and analysis through interviews with PFP Steering Committee members
  • Evaluation of new pilot programs (Veg Out Pilot Program, Poudre Valley Producer’s Farmers Pick Program, etc.)
  • Review of Community and Producer Surveys and summaries and their application within the final action plan.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in grant writing, budgeting, and project management
  • SWOT analysis and other qualitative and Quantitative data analysis
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
