Description:
Our 3rd Semi-Annual Southwest Colorado Food & Agriculture Summit aims to bring together all of the voices in our region’s food and agricultural system so that we can get to know one another, understand shared and distinct challenges and opportunities within our respective sectors, identify opportunities to address some of these locally, and highlight those to elevate at the state or federal level. Additionally, we will begin to develop a shared vision for what SW Colorado food and agriculture issues we want to bring forward at Colorado State University’s 2025 statewide Colorado Food Summit. Our day will include a locally-sourced lunch and several facilitated conversations. In addition to attendees representing all sectors of agriculture, food retail, and food access, we have asked our local, state, and federal policy makers, as well as, our region’s various support and funding entities to attend in a ‘listening and learning’ role, so that their work can best support your needs.
