LOCATION: Classroom 1 – Youth Session Open To All Participants
Geonna is a founding member of the Pueblo Fooducates in Pueblo, CO, and a student at Colorado State University-Pueblo. She works to encourage youth in the Pueblo community to channel their ambitions and abilities to collectively work toward governance within their local food system. Since 2021, the youth-led council has sought to gain and distribute knowledge of food and nutrition amongst peers and the Pueblo County community! Fueled by her peer members’ success and dedication, Geonna enjoys pursuing this important work to expand access to culturally relevant and nutritionally appropriate foods.
