Josh Curtiss is an artist, butcher, farmer, and entrepreneur. He co-founded Western Daughters Butcher Shoppe in 2013 and Western Daughters Kitchen in 2023 with his now wife Kate Kavanaugh where they focus on connecting rural and urban communities through local nutrient dense food. Together they have put over 5 million dollars into local communities in Colorado and Kansas, championing regenerative agricultural practices and helping to shape how people think about food and the health of land, bodies, and communities.
