LOCATION: Classroom 1 – Youth Session Open To All Participants
Lauren Ames is the Food Security Director for the Good Food Collective– a nonprofit based in Southwest Colorado that works with partners to collectively build a just and thriving food system. Currently, Lauren supports a “Farms to Food Access” and “Healthy Food Retail Access Initiative,” which brings together Farmers and Ranchers, Food Pantries, Hospitals, Schools, Community Advocates, Food Businesses, and Government Agencies to build a stronger regional food network. Lauren holds a Masters Degree in Sustainable Food Systems from CU Boulder and a Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management from CSU. She has called Colorado home for ten years.
