Session: WORKSHOP Telling Your Story: How to Connect, Talk, and Influence Media & Elected Officials

LOCATION: East Breakout

LeAnna is studying for her Master’s in Political Science with a focus in Environmental Policy and Public Policy at Colorado State University. Her research Interests include Environmental Justice and Social Justice, particularly for the migrant and domestic farmworker communities in the U.S. Her intent throughout the program has centered around understanding the criticisms of the H-2A visa program, U.S. Farm Bills, and the proposed Farm Workforce Modernization Acts in an effort to understand how future policy could be shaped to promote justice for migrant farmworker communities, their families, and farmers themselves.
