Administrative Assistant – Boulder County Farmers Markets

We are looking for an administrative assistant who will assist with office functions for our farmers markets. This role will include data entry in spreadsheets, bundling market currencies, counting currencies returned from markets, and various other office and recordkeeping tasks.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Process and organize currency going to and from each of our weekly markets

Process all vendor fee bags returned at market – separating and categorizing market currencies, recording sameTracking vendor payments for each market and attendanceData entry into spreadsheets

Assist with mailing vendor statements, filing, etc.

Check mail and phone messages

Prepare weekly bank deposits & take same to bank during market season

Invoice our vendors, artisans, and community groups

Requirements/Qualifications:
Works very efficiently and effectively

Detail oriented and very organized

Communicates in a professional manner; excellent communication skills

Positive, upbeat outlook and attitude a MUST

Ability to successfully multitask and/or quickly transition from task to task.

Takes initiative/critical thinking skills

Ability to work alone or in a group

Takes healthy accountability

Can complete tasks by scheduled deadlines

Knowledge of QuickBooks Online a plus
