We are hiring for just that position, to start no later than March 1! The Boulder Markets Manager is a full time, year round position. The Boulder Markets Manager handles planning and day-to-day operations associated with the Boulder Farmers Markets on Saturdays and Wednesdays. The Markets Manager is the on-site, day-to-day manager of their staff, interacting with customers in a positive manner and holding appropriate boundaries with market vendors. They hire, train and manage their staff and any volunteers, organize materials and currencies prior to the market (including food access and other currencies), create weekly market maps with vendor placement, set up and break down the BCFM booth before/after the markets, conduct all opening and closing activities, enforce market rules and regulations, provide a positive, fun and safe environment for customers, ensuring a great customer experience!
Additionally, they work with our Marketing Manager to create interesting social media posts weekly. We run all weather, outdoor markets April through November and one indoor market the first weekend of December.

Leadership & Management – Leads and supervises an effective team with encouragement and clear expectations and has staff take accountability for outcomes Knowledge and ability to work with maps, spreadsheets and Google Suite Apps.
Knowledge of Food Systems & Agriculture a plus!!

$17 – $18 per hour, 10 days earned PTO, 7 paid holidays, company pays 65% of silver plan health insurance premium, dental and vision available at discounted group rates, 20% off online markets orders
