Drylands Agroecology Research is seeking a Farm Manager to oversee operations at its pilot research project, Elk Run Farm. The ideal candidate will be organized, self-motivated, have good people management skills, and have 2-3 years of working experience with vegetable production and/or livestock husbandry.
Our operation is relatively small – veg production on 1/3 of an acre, forest garden/diverse orchard production, drylands grain fields, and rotational livestock management – sheep, chickens, pigs, ducks.
The position also includes on site housing.
