Travel support to and from Denver, at a fixed flat rate based on distance ranges to Denver, in the form of a gift card (we anticipate travel support ranging from $10 – $200 for individuals, varying amounts for carpools and those traveling more than 300 miles; this will depend on the number of requests received).
Overnight hotel accommodations on the night of December 7 and/or December 8 at Radisson Hotel Denver Central or a nearby hotel. The room cost paid directly by the Colorado Food Summit – minus incidentals. Participants will be asked to follow a link and secure their reservation with a credit card. If this presents a challenge for participants the Summit team will help resolve the challenge (estimated hotel cost is $119 per night).
Childcare support to help cover the cost of childcare for individuals who are leaving children at home to participate at the conference, flat fixed rate per family, in the form of a gift card (estimated $100 per family).
Given the focus on leveraging food policy, we our planning committee is made up of representatives from each of the state’s food policy councils/coalitions, which are in turn representative of the diversity of Colorado’s food systems.
We invite anyone connected to Colorado’s food system to be a part of this important discussion. Please add your email here to stay up to date with the latest information about the regional and statewide gatherings.
