Nicole’s work is based on rural economic well-being with an emphasis on agriculture and food. She works in the Western Region and lives in Delta County. Nicole’s background is in small-scale agricultural production, natural resources, and local/regional food systems development. She loves to get to support on topics around moving produce from the farm/ranch to the consumer, marketing, community economic development, building community, and produce safety. She also loves learning, teaching, and socializing in Spanish. Having grown up in rural communities throughout the US West, Nicole is especially excited to dive in and help support rural voices in Colorado.
