Position Summary
Supervised by TUF’s horticulture manager and horticulture assistant, the urban grown farm apprentice is responsible for assisting with TUF’s horticultural operations which include the production of vegetables, fruit, herbs, and flowers on 3/4 acre, a demonstration summer camp plot, and a hydroponic container farm.
This position will assist the farm manager and assistant manager to ensure that the market garden is producing as well as engaging with members of the community about gardening and farming. This role is an exciting opportunity to help support TUF’s horticultural operations.
