We are hiring for just that position, to start no later than March 1! The Longmont Market Manager is a part time position, (approximately 25 hours a
week) through early December, with potential to work part time year round. The Longmont Market Manager handles planning and day-to-day operations associated with the Longmont Farmers Market on Saturdays. The Market Manager is the on- site, day-to-day manager of their staff, interacting with customers in a positive manner and holding appropriate boundaries with market vendors. They hire, train and manage their staff and any volunteers, organize materials and currencies prior to the market (including food access and other currencies), create weekly market maps with vendor placement, set up and break down the BCFM booth before/after the markets, conduct all opening and closing activities, enforce market rules and regulations, provide a positive, fun and safe environment for customers, ensuring a great customer experience!
Additionally, they work with our Marketing Manager to create interesting social media posts weekly. We run all weather, outdoor markets April through November and one indoor market the first weekend of December.
