Farmers Win

By examining how farm profitability patterns vary across different areas of the country and integrating information about how Farm to School Programs and policies vary in those same places, we are exploring how place-based FTSPs may influence or correlate with farm performance. Deliverables stakeholders can expect include:

1. An academic publication and accompanying outreach publication on financial performance of US farms, with detail on how marketing channels influence performance across farms with varying size.
2. An academic publication, webinar in early 2019, and policy brief on how the varying intensity of FTSPs and policy across the US may align with financial performance, and how that interrelationship may vary across farms that are more (and less) financially viable.
